Membership Benefits

Board Certification: ATAA board certification is available to qualified trial lawyers who demonstrate a masterful level of knowledge, experience and expertise through an application and testing process. A Board Certification program is also available to paralegals working in the field of plaintiff's truck accident litigation.

Continuing Legal Education Programs: Members receive a significant discount on trucking litigation programs with presentations by the leading trial lawyers and experts in this field. Programs are also offered for paralegals working in the field of plaintiff's truck accident litigation.

Networking: Members gain access to our network of experienced truck crash attorneys, including some of the best in the nation. Many of our attorneys routinely present at events and are happy to network with other ATAA members and help share their knowledge. One-on-one case assistance may also be an option. 

Resource Center:  Access to members only Resource Center containing over 1,350 documents including state CDL manuals, sample litigation documents, deposition transcripts, information on case specific factors like broker/shipper liability, fatigue, etc. Instructional videos are also being added to the resource center on a routine basis.

Webinars: Member only webinars provide valuable and timely information on trucking litigation topics. Webinars are 45 minutes in length and are provided on a semi-monthly basis to active members.

Mentorship Program: We offer an optional mentorship program to members who are new to handling truck crash cases. Our mentors are Board Certified and have years of experience in truck accident litigation.

Listserv/Online Forum: Network with experienced, knowledgeable trucking attorneys and members nationwide. This benefit is also available to paralegal members.

Minority Caucus and Women's Caucus: Open for members who are interested.

Safety Committee: We have a dedicated safety committee that is invested in ensuring our members have access to updated safety information that's relevant to trucking cases nationwide. Become involved to learn about and gain access to speaking engagements and events that may go all the way to Washington D.C. and help change our nation's trucking safety laws for the better.

Health & Wellness Committee: We have a dedicated committee that is committed to looking out for the health and wellness of our members. Trucking cases can be some of the most difficult and taxing to our bodies and mental health. Get the support you need from those who understand the struggles truck wreck attorneys face every day. 

Secondary Trauma Assistance: The work you do is hard. Members have access to essential support for secondary trauma as well as other mental health issues related to truck accident cases.
